What Happens to Ladder Season 13 Items?

When Ladder Season 13 ends, Ladder characters move into their matching Non-Ladder group. Shared Stash items from Season 13 move into special Withdraw Only stash tabs.

Important: items from older Withdraw Only tabs can be overwritten, so players should remove anything they want to keep before the next reset cycle replaces those tabs.

Patch 3.2: Major Warlock Changes

Patch 3.2 brings another round of balancing for the Warlock class after PTR feedback. One of the biggest equipment changes is that Warlocks can now only equip a two-handed weapon in one hand if the other hand is using a Grimoire.

Several Warlock skills were also adjusted, including Miasma Bolt, Miasma Chains, Abyss, Echoing Strike, Eldritch Blast, Summon Tainted, Bind Demon, Demonic Mastery, Blood Oath, and Consume.

Notable Warlock Highlights

  • Warlock two-handed weapon use now requires a Grimoire in the off-hand.
  • Health potion effectiveness was increased from 100% to 150%.
  • Miasma skill bugs and cloud interactions were adjusted.
  • Echoing Strike now uses more weapon damage, increasing from 75% to 90%.
  • Eldritch Blast life and mana steal were reduced to a flat 5%.
  • Bind Demon received major clarity, balance, and elite monster interaction changes.
  • Demonic Mastery now requires fewer base skill points to reach additional demon limits.

Terror Zone and Herald Changes

Terror Zones are receiving important loot and spawn adjustments in Patch 3.2. It's noted that Heralds and Sunder Charms were too rare at launch, and the new changes aim to create a better middle ground.

Worldstone Shard and Latent Sunder Charm drop behavior has been adjusted, especially for solo players. Heralds can now spawn while killing monsters inside Terror Zones, with higher-tier Heralds offering stronger Latent Sunder Charm opportunities.

Key Terror Zone Updates

  • Worldstone Shard drop chance is no longer modified by player count.
  • Latent Sunder Charm drop chance from Heralds now starts at Tier 1.
  • Higher-tier Heralds have increased Latent Sunder Charm drop chances.
  • Latent Sunder Charms can now drop from any monster, Terrorized or non-Terrorized, with Magic Find.
  • Heralds now hunt players after monster kills in Terror Zones.
  • A lightning storm appears before a Herald spawns, giving players 5 seconds to prepare.

Colossal Ancients Become More Dangerous

The Colossal Ancients encounter is also being adjusted. Magic Resistance of each Colossal will be incrased and improved several damage mechanics to make the fight more threatening for strong builds.

  • Colossal Ancient Statues can now drop from non-Terrorized act bosses at a reduced rate.
  • Each Colossal now has 75% Magic Resistance, increased from 50%.
  • Talic, Korlic, and Madawc received damage-related increases.
  • Colossal Barbarian summons now spawn continuously up to a cap of 5.

WASD Movement Returns

Patch 3.2 also reintroduces bindable keyboard movement keys, often referred to as WASD movement. This is a notable quality-of-life feature for players who prefer modern movement controls while playing Diablo II: Resurrected.

Loot Filter, Stash, UI, Console, and Stability Fixes

Beyond class and endgame balance, Patch 3.2 includes many bug fixes and usability improvements. These include loot filter fixes, stash improvements, controller updates, UI cleanup, console and handheld fixes, and general stability and performance improvements.
