Worldstone Shards

Worldstone Shards are consumable items introduced in Diablo II: Resurrected – Reign of the Warlock. These shards are obtained through Terror Zones and allow players to temporarily terrorize entire Acts, increasing difficulty and unlocking new progression paths.

Each Act contains its own shard variant — Western, Eastern, Southern, Deep, and Northern — corresponding to Acts I through V. Using a shard transforms all areas within an Act into Terrorized Zones for a limited time.

Terrorized Act Bosses have a chance to drop Colossal Ancient Statues, which are required to open the Red Portal to the expansion’s pinnacle encounter.
