Protector’s Stone belongs to the Colossal Ancient Jewels, a category of powerful endgame rewards obtained from the Colossal Ancients encounter at the Colossal Summit.

This encounter is unlocked by collecting Colossal Ancient Statues from Terrorized Act Bosses, often supported by Worldstone Shards. The exact jewel depends on the kill order. If Korlic the Protector is defeated last, the reward pool includes Protector’s Stone or Protector’s Frost.

These jewels function as enhanced versions of Rainbow Facets, combining damage scaling with additional bonuses such as experience gain, magic find, and gold find. However, they are limited to one per character, making them a key endgame upgrade.

As part of the Reign of the Warlock endgame rewards, Protector’s Stone is a strong upgrade for physical damage builds.
